In addition to providing data services for Epos® databases, the Epos infrastructure enables data from other E&P software vendors to be linked or transferred into Epos for access by Paradigm™ applications. Paradigm recognizes that its software solutions are used in conjunction with software from other E&P software providers, and that the ability to incorporate data from other software solutions is of value to our clients. Paradigm continues to invest in providing connectivity to E&P applications and data stores as they evolve.
Connectivity to GeoFrame® (IESX and Charisma®) and OpenWorks® enables well data, seismic data and interpretation data, such as horizons, grids and fault picks, to be exchanged with the Epos infrastructure using a client-server architecture, without the need for time-consuming data reformatting.
Epos also offers connectivity through OpenSpirit®, a vendor-neutral, platform-independent middleware product that provides for both application integration and the exchange of interpretation and seismic data. The Epos-OpenSpirit link enables data exchange between third-party repositories supported by OpenSpirit data connectors and the Epos framework. Users can work within the OpenSpirit framework to access and interact with third-party repositories such as OpenWorks, SeisWorks®, GeoFrame, ESRI®, SMT®, Petrel® and others in a consistent manner.
