SKUA - Structural Analysis
Overview Benefits Features Science Modules FAQ Requirements
The SKUA® model constructed in "interpretation while modeling" workflows can be used directly to perform a number of structural analyses:
  • Fault displacement map
  • Fault displacement vs. length/area analysis
  • Reservoir juxtaposition or fault trap information can be extracted from the SKUA stratigraphic faulted model. The UVT Transform® contains all the information needed to compute information such as Smear Gauge Ratio or weighted Smear Gauge Ratio, which takes into account the smearing potential.
  • 3D structural restoration can be done direcly on a SKUA structural model without the need to create a tesselated mesh.
  • Strain/stress information from the SKUA UVT Transform.
  • Fracture probability volumes can be computed from the SKUA UVT Transform and rock parameters.
