Crossplotting
Overview Benefits Features Science Modules FAQ Requirements
Paradigm offers an easy-to-use crossplot tool for sophisticated analysis of relationships between datasets.  Crossplot may be used in a broad range of workflows:
  • Perform multi-purpose data analysis and integration
  • Analyze the differences between multiple angle stacks and detect fluid anomalies
  • Analyze the differences between vintage datasets
  • Compare data processed using different velocity models
  • Analyze the effect of the velocity on seismic data
It may also be used to calibrate between seismic and well data for quantitative interpretation, as well as for projects involving:
  • Pore pressure prediction
  • Seismic attribute analysis
  • Formation evaluation
  • Time-depth analysis
  • Prospect identification
  • Geologic targeting
Paradigm software supports crossplotting on different types of data, such as seismic-driven data volumes, horizons and interpretation data, well data and vertical functions.  Some applications also support the integration of different types of data in the crossplot space, such as crossplotting synthetic data (wells) and seismic data.
