The result of an interpretation, whether automatic or manual, is a sparse representation of a series of horizon and faults. These sparse representations need to be made coherently into a consistent structural model where faults form a consistent fault network and horizons are correctly faulted. The structural model can later be used to control the creation of a geological or reservoir model for the purpose of structural analysis with surface or volume restoration, or fault seal analysis.
Paradigm subsurface modeling is based on the SKUA® modeling platform, which itself is based on the fundamental UVT Transform®. SKUA revolutionizes the world of sub-surface modeling by greatly simplifying the creation of a consistent structural and stratigraphic model. |
