Paradigm™ President and CEO to Give Keynote Speech at 2007 Data Fusion Workshop in Vancouver

John W. Gibson, Jr. to address opening session of interdisciplinary workshop on Monday, October 15, 2007

(SAN ANTONIO, Texas: September 25, 2007) Paradigm (www.pdgm.com), a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry, announced today that John W. Gibson, Jr., the company’s president and chief executive officer, has been selected to give the keynote speech at the 2007 Data Fusion Workshop to be held October 14-18 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Gibson, who is recognized as one of the most influential IT people in the oil patch, will address the current E&P challenge of integrating multidisciplinary datasets to create unified reservoir models for improved reliability and predictability.

A visionary and thought leader, Gibson has more than 25 years of experience leading organizations in the global energy industry. He is a well-respected and sought-after industry advocate and spokesperson. Prior to joining Paradigm in April 2005, Gibson served as president of Halliburton Energy Services, where he managed the company’s energy-related operations.

Data Fusion is a joint, interdisciplinary workshop sponsored by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. The workshop will focus on techniques of data fusion — the process of combining subsurface data and knowledge from heterogeneous sources to build realistic, geologically sound reservoir models.
