GeoDepth is a fully integrated system for 2D/3D velocity model building and seismic imaging. It enables the construction of a variety of 3D velocity/depth model types, from preprocessed, prestack marine/land seismic data.

Running on the Epos3™ data management and interoperability integration framework, GeoDepth integrates interpretation, visualization, velocity analysis, model building, mapping, time-to-depth conversion, depth imaging, ray trace modeling and tomography inversion, in a 3D isotropic and anisotropic environment.

GeoDepth is run through the Velocity Navigator, an intuitive, Wizard-driven user interface that promotes a short learning curve. The Velocity Navigator combines horizon- and vertical-based velocity analysis workflows, in both interactive and automatic modes. This facilitates a highly productive model-building process, and helps users create more plausible geological models.

GeoDepth is supported by a rich suite of Earth Domain Imaging migrations, including all types of time/depth, ray-based Kirchhoff/wave equation, post-stack/pre-stack migrations.

GeoDepth supports both shared memory and distributed cluster (Linux) systems.
