The Geolog XV upgrade package, aimed at existing Geolog users, extends petrophysical analysis to the 3D environment, and gives geologists and petrophysicists a better understanding of their reservoirs. Running on Paradigm’s Epos3™ data management and interoperability integration framework, Geolog XV allows a 3D view of all well data in the project, including logs and formation tops, and enables advanced customization of log display.

The Geolog database has been adopted as Paradigm’s Epos well repository, making Geolog data accessible to all other Paradigm applications.

The Geolog XV upgrade package includes the iMap geoscience mapping solution, and the Reservoir Navigator 3D Canvas, for the visualization of interpretation and well data, with mapping options. This comprehensive package provides Geolog users with the tools needed to perform mapping operations on petrophysical and geological data, and then visualize the results in 3D.

The Geolog XV upgrade also includes the Maplan programming tool.

Note: An installed Geolog program is a prerequisite for the Geolog XV upgrade.
