Description
Expand your Interpretation Into 3D: Advanced Seismic Interpretation
Andrea Pronk, Visualization & Interpretation - Technical Advisor
Featuring: Paradigm™ SeisEarth®
- Visualization and interpretation of multiple 2D and 3D seismic surveys within SeisEarth's 3D Canvas enables a better understanding of basin evolution. The speed and accuracy of advanced interpretation tools, such as 3D Propagator, result in a major acceleration of the interpretation process. Work from regional to prospect scales in 3D space to better understand reservoir connectivity and economic potential.
Understand your Reservoir: Seismic Facies Classification
Dany Cadiou, Reservoir Modeling Technical Advisor
Featuring: Paradigm™ Stratimagic®
- The concepts of seismic facies analysis have been in practice for the past three decades, beginning as a tool for basin analysis and more recently, being adapted to address seismic and geological reservoir characterization problems. This presentation will focus on understanding how and when to use automatic seismic facies classification. Several common classification techniques will be explained including waveform based classification, multi-attribute volume based classification, and data reduction methods (Principal Component Analysis). These classification techniques will be presented, illustrating how seismic facies classification can be applied to a variety of exploration and reservoir characterization scenarios.
See into your Volumes: 3D Volume Visualization and Geobody Detection
Andrea Pronk, Visualization & Interpretation - Technical Advisor
Featuring: Paradigm™ VoxelGeo®
- Reveal the full dimensionality of subsurface structures. Interpret multiple co-located 3D volumes and then take your interpretation further with on-the-fly attribute extraction in order to enhance both the physical and geometric description of the sub-surface. Extract geobodies based on attribute response to identify subtle prospects within your volume and to better understand reservoir connectivity and economic potential.
