Paradigm’s comprehensive collection of traditional and innovative seismic data attributes provides tremendous subsurface imaging power by enhancing the seismic response to specific subsurface or reservoir conditions. Seismic data attributes provide the seismic interpreter with new images that can enhance both the physical and geometric descriptions of the subsurface. Geometric attributes help define the structural and stratigraphic framework of the seismic interpretation, while physical attributes may be useful as direct hydrocarbon or lithologic indicators.
Paradigm offers six Seismic Data Attribute packages:
- Complex trace and seismic trace analysis attributes: Contain over 20 different seismic attributes computed from the “complex” seismic trace. These are routinely used to enhance both the physical and geometric description of the subsurface.
- Directional and illumination attributes: Include three additional geometric properties that highlight the lateral relationships in seismic data - dip, azimuth, and Lightscape, a new transformation for “illuminating” the subsurface.
- Spectral decomposition attribute: Detects thin beds.
- Discontinuity attribute: Enhances subsurface discontinuities.
- Comprehensive bundle: Includes all attributes. When used collectively, Paradigm seismic data attributes provide details of the structural, stratigraphic and fluid framework not readily visible in seismic amplitude images.
- Coherence Cube®: Patented, industry-standard technology to extract structural and stratigraphic features from seismic data volumes. Multiple methods are available for image enhancement.
Seismic Data Attribute packages are available for Focus, GeoDepth®, VoxelGeo® XV, VoxelGeo VI*, SeisEarth™ XV, Stratimagic™, Probe™ and Vanguard™**. All of the licenses float across UNIX and Linux platforms.
