High-performance links from third-party data stores to Paradigm applications

TIBCO OpenSpirit®

Enables data exchange between third-party repositories supported by OpenSpirit data connectors and Epos. Users can work in the OpenSpirit framework to interact with OpenWorks, SeisWorks®, GeoFrame and Esri®. The GOCAD®/SKUA® OpenSpirit plug-in is an OpenSpirit application adaptor that enables the exchange of data with OpenSpirit-supported data stores, as well as the sharing of OpenSpirit-supported user interaction events, such as data selection and data change, cursor selection, and GIS events.

Halliburton OpenWorks®

Well, seismic and interpretation data (e.g. horizons, grids and fault picks) can be exchanged with Epos, using a client-server architecture that enables transfer with no time-consuming data reformatting.

Schlumberger GeoFrame®

GeoFrame well, seismic and interpretation (horizons grids, fault picks, etc.) data can be exchanged with Epos using a client-server architecture that enables transfer with no time-consuming data reformatting. Supports both IESX® and Charisma.

Flow Simulators

Reservoir models produced by SKUA/GOCAD can be processed by commercial flow simulators:
  • Schlumberger ECLIPSE®
  • Halliburton VIP
  • CMG Imex
  • Stars
  • Gems

Flow simulation results can be imported and analyzed in SKUA/GOCAD for Schlumberger and CMG reservoir simulators. Streamlines can be imported from Schlumberger Frontsim and Streamsim Technologies 3DSL.

A dedicated pre-processing module allows the creation of input parameter files and launch simulation runs for Eclipse and 3DSL from the SKUA/GOCAD environment.  It is also possible to connect and launch any flow simulator with externally generated parameter files.

Paradigm® OpsLink®

Enables operating companies to make rapid and informed decisions while drilling based on real-time data, to maximize productivity and minimize drilling costs. OpsLink provides efficient and accurate data exchange between rig site acquisition systems and office-based software applications and data stores. It enables real-time workflows in Geolog®, Geolog® Geosteer®, Sysdrill® and GOCAD.

Support for standard file formats

Paradigm applications support many standard file formats. Raw data can be loaded in spreadsheet format and assigned to the appropriate data type. Supported file formats include:
