How does one create an accurate representation of a 3D reservoir model, honoring all available seismic and well data? The goal is to use seismic data to extend the definition of reservoir facies throughout the study area and combine it with the electro-facies in order to build a more accurate 3D lithological facies model. The facies model will be applied to a 3D geological model, which defines the key subsurface geological features. This static geological model, which enables statistically rigorous 3D reservoir property modeling, will better characterize the associated development risk.

This presentation illustrates how Paradigm provides enhanced integrated tools, which capture all relevant information in a workflow, to improve understanding of the reservoir, resulting in optimized field development.
